Beetle Race
The Beetle Race is held at Harappa Square the 7th of Summer between 10 AM and 6 PM. You'll need a beetle if you want to sign up, first! Let's see how to catch one.
Catching Beetles
In order to catch beetles and any other bugs, you will first need the Bug Net, which you can buy from the General Store for 2000 Gold. Bugs have a quality-rating just like crops, and the higher the quality, the more money you make from selling them, but during the race, all that matters is how hard you can mash the buttons, so don't worry about catching high-quality beetles.
Check out our Bug Catching Guide to learn where to find all the bugs and beetles. Get yourself a beetle, then head to Harappa Square to sign up! You'll have to be holding the beetle you want to use for the race when you talk to Ryam to sign up. You'll get a chance to practice before the race starts. You'll get a commemorative trophy if you win the race
