Magic Flower will randomly mature into either Blue Magic Red Flower (common) or True Magic Red Flower (rare). The blue variety will grow wild during the fall season, but the red variety must come from growing the flower on your farm. The Nature Sprites do not influence the chance of red flowers appearing on the morning of Stage 3 growth, when you can see which flowers will bloom blue and which will bloom red. You can save your game the night before and reload your save file in the morning if you aren't satisifed with the amount of the red variety that appear; however, there is only a 5% chance of the red variety appearing.

This flower seed unlock in Jeff's store inventory after you see the Preserved Flower event as part of the requirements to get married. After you see the event with Basil and Jeff about the flower, walk into the Secret Forest during fall to see a short scene with Cherry the Nature Sprite. He will tell you that the Sunsweet Flower might grow wild in the park during fall.
