What Are Tools?

Tools are single-use combat items that assist your survivors during missions. They can be obtained from various sources, including daily quests, missions, seasonal events, Guild Wars, and can also be purchased with Gold in the Trade Goods shop.

New Tools Introduced:

Grenades
- Function: Equips the survivor with a grenade that can hit up to 9 enemies.
- Damage: Deals a flat damage rate (based on the highest level survivors) plus 30% of a walker’s health.
- Cooldown: 3 turns.
- Threat Generation: Generates 2 threat.
Medkit
- Function: Restores 70% of the survivor's health.
- Limitations: Cannot heal from a red health bar to a green one and does not work on survivors in struggle.
- Cooldown: 4 turns.
Flare
- Function: Equips the survivor with a flare that, when thrown, attracts nearby walkers and provides vision to adjacent spaces.
- Duration: Lasts for {0} turn(s).
Blast Grenade
- Function: Equips the survivor with a blast grenade that hits up to 9 enemies.
- Effect: Hit enemies are pushed {0} spaces and stunned if the push results in a collision.
- Damage: Deals {1} + {2}% of the enemy's health as damage.
Pile of Gore
- Function: Makes the survivor undetectable to walkers for {0} turns.
- Movement: Decreases the survivor's movement distance; actions other than moving break the Gore effect.

Usage of Tools

Access: Tools can be accessed from the Toolbag icon in the top left corner of the screen, next to survivor portraits during missions.
Action Points: Tools do not consume action points but can only be used when action points are available.
Limitations: Each survivor can use only one tool per turn.
