The story of the game begins when the player is invited by the protagonist's mother or father to visit a harbor town called Helianthus, a place that once thrived in the past but has now become a deserted town after a major natural disaster (a big storm) devastated much of the area. After the storm, the player must help restore the town and bring new life to the damaged community, starting by rebuilding their own farm and assisting the townspeople in constructing homes and other facilities.

The player will need to work hard to restore their farm, starting with growing crops and raising animals. They can talk to and complete tasks for the townspeople to build friendships with them. In addition to farming, players can also fish, mine, and participate in various festivals held in the town. The player will also collaborate with the townspeople to build amenities such as shops or tourist attractions to help bring tourists back to the town.
