Population growth is an increase in population. Beyond the storage of resources and warehouses, we'll see people's camps and fires moving north, indicators of population growth. That means that it's unpopular, radiuses show that people are leaving, populations aren't going to increase and disappear, and that's a disaster, because labor is not going to increase and disappear until there's no labor to build or find resources, and there's no ability to build soldiers.
