God of War II is a game that continues the story from the first installment, where Kratos, a warrior who betrayed the god Ares and became the God of War, is now betrayed by Zeus after gaining too much power. Fueled by anger, Kratos sets out to overthrow Zeus and seek revenge on the gods. During his journey, he encounters new allies like Athena and faces new enemies such as Icarus and Theseus. He also gains special abilities, including the Wings of Icarus and the Blade of Olympus, to help him in his battles and quest for vengeance against the gods.
