Tom Hansen, a U.S. Navy SEAL, is tasked with investigating an incident on a Russian research vessel drifting in the North Atlantic Ocean. Upon boarding the ship, Tom discovers that something is terribly wrong. Many of the crew members have been transformed into monstrous creatures exhibiting zombie-like behavior, the result of a failed secret scientific experiment and a virus outbreak with devastating effects. As Tom investigates further and uncovers the truth behind the events on the ship, he faces dangerous situations that require both intelligence and survival skills to escape from the sinking vessel.
