Shodai Nekketsu Kouha Kunio-Kun tells the story of Kunio, a high school student who is passionate about justice and serves as the leader of a group of students that protects his friends from local bullies. The story begins when Kunio is challenged and attacked by a group of students from rival schools, known for their use of violence. Kunio must step up to defend his friends and fight back against these bullies. Throughout the game, Kunio faces many different groups of enemies, including thugs, famous athletes, and local gang members. His main goal is to prove his strength and fight to uphold justice in his world.
