Bee Keeping
Doraemon: Story of Seasons
Beekeeping is an easy way to earn income. You only need two things: bees, and hives to keep them in.
Catching the Bees
To start beekeeping in the first year, you will need to purchase a Bug Net from the General Store as soon as possible and start catching Honey Bees, since they can only be found in Spring. Store them rather than sell them, as the more bees you have the more honey you can get. Honey Bees can be found in many areas around Natura, including your farm near the pond. See our Bug Catching Guide for more info.
Building the Hives
You have bees, but you need a home to keep them in. You can craft Bee Hives at Pent's Carpenter Shop starting from Summer, when you are able to obtain the required material Bee's Nest. Bee's Nest can be found once a day in the upper left corner of your farm (left of the animal barn and horse barn). Bee Hives are otherwise cheap to craft, so you can quickly craft several of them.
Getting the Honey
Once you have the Bee Hives, place them on your farm and interact with them to place a bee inside. The bee will then produce Honey which can be collected from the hive every other day. Note that the bee won't stay in the hive forever; after collecting honey several times, the bee will leave and you will need to put another bee in the hive. This is why you need to stock up a lot of bees in spring, and also why you don't need to craft too many bee hives or you may soon run out of bees to put inside!
