Dragon Quest VII is the installment with the deepest and longest storyline in the series. The game begins with Aktor and his friends embarking on an adventure from a small village called Estard to uncover the secrets of the world and the lost history. As the group discovers fragments, pieces of a forgotten past, they begin to reveal various time periods from the past through time travel. These fragments are used to open doors to different worlds filled with secrets and mysteries to solve.
