- Hold down Button A, get ready to press Button B repeatedly.
- While holding down the A button, press the B button repeatedly 55 times. Make sure to press the B button evenly and do not release the A button.
- After pressing the B button 55 times, the hidden puzzle game should activate.

- This mechanism may only be available on certain ships.
- The puzzles may vary depending on the ship.
- Original NES: Press A and B simultaneously 55 times.
- PS1 Origins: Press X and circle at the same time 55 times.
- GBA Dawn of Souls: Press A and B simultaneously 22 times.
