        Gohan is pretty useless for most of the game. When you first get control
of him (in Chapter 8), he starts out at Level 1. Up until you hit Level 34, each
of his stats will only increase by 1. After you hit Level 35, however, his true
potential begins to shine through, and he gains +3 in Power and +2 in everything
else for every subsequent level.

        The problem with that is that by the time you finally get him to a
decent enough level, however, he only has a couple of boss fights. In all
honesty, unless you plan on taking the Secret Boss on, do not bother with Gohan
too much. If you ARE planning on taking the Secret Boss on, however, you should
definitely level up Gohan, as by the time you hit Level 70, he will outstrip
basically everyone except for Goku.

        An excellent strategy to use in the early-going is to use Anger to
temporarily increase Gohan's attack, followed by Rush, a Melee attack. Later on
when Gohan is with a party, Icarus, a Special that heals the whole party, will
be quite useful.
