Timid
Timid is the green Harvest Sprite, one of the seven Harvest Sprites who live inside the Harvest Sprite Tree. His birthday falls on the 16th of Summer. He plays an important role in helping reduce the player’s farm workload, especially by taking care of animals during severe weather such as hurricanes or snowstorms, when the player cannot leave the house.
At the beginning, Timid and the other Harvest Sprites are not very efficient and can only help for short periods of time. Hiring them will also slightly decrease friendship points. However, regularly talking to him and giving him gifts he likes will quickly increase his affection. A cost-effective and beginner-friendly gift is Flour, which is inexpensive and easy to buy from the supermarket. Once his friendship level improves, switching to Eggs is also a good way to maintain steady progress.
When Timid is well trained and has a high friendship level, he can help manage farm work much more efficiently, whether it is watering crops or taking care of animals, allowing the player to manage daily time far more conveniently.
In addition, Timid takes part in special activities such as the Tea Party, which is held every Spring. If the player gives gifts to all seven Harvest Sprites on a day when they are all at home, they can join the party and receive a special item called Relax Tea Leaves. Even during the party preparations, when the sprites may hesitate to work, the player can still ask for their help by talking to them multiple times.
