This page is for all of the Original Characters that will join you throughout the game.  They can be viewed by going into the Tavern under "Recruit" and scanning over to the next page.  There are a total of 14 Original Characters.

Ricardo can be picked up at the very beginning of the game in the Tavern by accepting his quest.  You NEED to have him with you in order to enter the Labyrinth the 1st time.  When you meet up with the Swordsman for the first time on B1, you actions regarding him will determine on whether he stays with you or not.

Sara can be picked up in the early part of the game, right after you first enter the Imperial Quarters for the first time.  She's waiting to get a pass to go down to B2.  Her Alignment & Personality will be either G/Jus, N/Kin or E/Bel depending on what your Main Character's Alignment & Personality is.  She is the same as Ricardo & Kyo in regards to her staying with you or leaving after you meet the Swordsman on B1 the first time (help others, showed kindness, etc).

Go down to the 2nd floor of B2, and go into the room on the north east part of the map.  You'll run into her during the middle of a quest she's doing.  She tells you to go back to town and tell Garcia in the Tavern that she'll return with the promised goods.  Go back to town.  In the tavern, search through the Quest List for Garcia's "Find a girl named Rui" and accept it.  You'll complete it automatically.  He'll ask you to go down and tell Rui not to overwork herself.  Go back down to B2 where you meet Rui.  A thief will tell you about how a girl had set numerous traps in the room she's working in so no one would bother her.  Enter the room, disarm the 2 traps in there, and break through the back wall.  Rui will be there and wants you to get something for her as 'punishment' for breaking down her wall and bothering her.  You'll hit a trap, disarm it, and take the Baked Silver and give it to Rui.  She'll show her thanks to you back in town.  Return to the Tavern and Garcia will thank you, give you a Craftsman's Katana, and leave.  Go to the Lodge and Rui will thank you by becoming a Registered member.  She teaches you the Lv. 4 AA - Back Attack.
 





Daniel

Go down to B5, and go down looking for a room with a set of tracks leading to a trolley at the end of a short tunnel.  Go up to the trolley,disarm the trap, and take the money from it.  Continue going down the level, until you find another set of tracks leading to another trolley.  Same thing as before; disarm trap and take money.  From there, go back to the previous room, and you'll see an orc guarding the door and hear some commotion going on inside between Daniel and some orcs.  They think he stole money from them, and want to kill him.  Push the orc aside and go in, and fight against a group of Orc Kings.  Kill them, Daniel will thank you, and will become a Registered member.

After reaching B6, go to the Tavern.  Check under Quest List for Hina's "Help my brother" quest.  Accept it, and Hina will become a Registered member.  Complete the quest to keep her permenantly.  If you cancel the quest, she'll leave.
 





Aoba

This can only be done after you've completed Gustav's "Recover our party's shield" quest", and chose "watch what it does" to the rotting corpse thing for it.  Go down to B6, and walk through it.  After the scene with Kulgan, drop off the nearby ledge and keep walking.  You'll eventually run into Orphe & Aoba.  She yells at you then leaves.  Go back to the beginning of this level, and take the lower east path from the entrance.  Follow it into a room, with a pathway to the south.  Take it and follow it to a small room, and you'll encounter Orphe & Aoba fighting a group of Fairies.  Help them.  Beat the fairies, Orphe will leave, Aoba will thank you and he leaves.  Go back to B4 (from B3), and you'll run into Aoba who is looking for Orphe.  Walk on through the level until you get over the 2nd overpass.  You'll run into Orphe & Aoba who will talk to you about what's going on.  They offer to help you and become Registered Members.
 





Orphe Bright

This can only be done after you've completed Garcia's "Deliver an axe" quest on B8.  After the quest is completed, continue on through the level until you get to the place where you push the switch to drain the water out from the bottom of the lake on B5.  Go back to the Tavern & Garcia will tell you that Wolfe & Grace went down to B5, and he'll give you something from Grace (Devilish Charm).  Go down to B5 and jump down the gondola shaft.  Near the exit to B6, you'll see a drop off point.  Jump down it and follow the path to the other side of the bottom of the lake and you'll see a newly opened path where the water used to be.  You'll run into Kasta, who says he needs your help.  Follow the path until you find a door and go through it.  You'll encounter a scene with Wolfe & Grace fighting monsters as they come out of the circle in the center of the room.  Suddenly, a RaverLord appears and attacks you.  Kill him.  Kasta will explain that Virgo tried to make a Magic Circle to get to B8, but she made it wrong so monsters can come out of it from lower levels.  Grace then purifies the cirlce with holy water and it works correctly now.  Kasta leaves.  Wolfe & Grace thank you and will become Registered members.  Kasta returns & you explain to him what happened when he left.  He leaves again.  Step into the Magic Circle and you'll be teleported back to the switch room in B8.

Go down to B10, and you'll fight Virgo.  Beat her and she'll leave.  Continue through B10 and you'll run into her again.  She shows you Eugene's corpse and how he got his soul taken.  She says she found out what's at the bottom of the Labyrinth, gets depressed, says she's going bug Kasta, then leaves.  Go down to Kasta's Shop and you'll run into Virgo leaving.  She says she going to end this herself.  Persuade her to stay, she agrees to help you fight, and becomes a Registered member.
