Ellen is a kind elderly woman who lives in Mineral Village with her granddaughter Elly and her grandson Stu. Ellen serves as the emotional center of her family and is a character who strongly reflects the bonds and warmth shared among the villagers.
She likes gifts such as apples, bamboo shoots, mushrooms, and spa-boiled eggs, but dislikes cheese, cookies, and ores. Ellen’s birthday is on the 13th of Winter. Building a relationship with her can be done through regular conversation and by participating in special events related to her.
One of her most important events is “The White Flower.” In this event, Ellen tells the legend of a mythical white flower that is said to bloom only on snowy nights, bringing happiness to those who see it. If the player finds this flower on the summit of Mother’s Hill and returns to tell Ellen and Basil about it, both of them will be deeply moved.
Another key event is the “Apple Pie Event,” in which Mayor Thomas asks the player to deliver an apple pie from the Inn to Ellen. This event not only increases the player’s relationship with Ellen, Elly, and Thomas, but also provides a special reward.
