Jeff is the owner of the Supermarket in Mineral Village, a kind-hearted and honest merchant whose gentle nature often leads others to take advantage of him. He is Sasha’s husband and Karen’s father, and he plays a crucial role in running the supermarket, which serves as the player’s main place for buying and selling goods.
Jeff likes apples, bamboo shoots, and Bodigizer, and dislikes ores and wine. His birthday is on the 29th of Winter. Because of his kindness and indecisiveness, Sasha often scolds him, and some villagers exploit his good nature by not paying for their purchases.
One of the most important events involving Jeff is “Pay Your Bill,” one of the earliest random events the player can encounter in the game. This event takes place at the Supermarket, when villagers buy items without paying. If the player chooses to remind them to pay, Karen, Jeff’s daughter, will appear to handle the situation. This marks the first meeting with Karen and serves as the starting point of the player’s relationship with her.
